He was a resident of McDowell County all of his life. He worked as an electrician and was devoted to his family. He would go out of his way to help a friend.
He was preceded in death by in addition to his parents; one brother, Michael Ray Carr and one sister, Wanda Bailey.
Survivors include his wife, Arnetta St. John Carr; three sons, Brandon Brewster of Morgantown, Cody Brewster and Arnold St. John both of Big Sandy; one daughter, Terra St. John of Roderfield; one very special granddaughter, Anneliese Underwood of Roderfield; two brothers, Johnny Carr and Marlin Carr both of War; and two sisters, Zona Dottie of West Hamlin, WV and Marcella Tyree of Crozet, VA.
Following the wishes of the deceased there will be no visitation or funeral services. The body will be cremated.
